Love Spirits, Wonderland, Venus & Cupid, and More!

I'm very excited to present my first jewelry collection of 2012! In past years, this collection was comprised mostly of reinterpretations of the Venus and Cupid myth. I've kept a few of those, but this time the focus is on a broader range of benevolent, passionate, and prosperous love spirits from various pantheons. Additionally, I have showcased a smattering of luxurious gemstones in my Gemstone Lust subseries, dabbled into the card suits for the Wonderland series, and included a nod to Imbolc, February, healing, and Mardi Gras. Enjoy!

Policy Change and New Work!

After careful consideration of feedback from friends and customers, I have chosen to make an adjustment to my policy on reserved items in order to strike a better balance for all involved. Requests can be sent in as soon as an update goes live, but not sooner. When I am able to sort through them, they will be honored in the order in which they were received. Please note that reserve times are limited to a duration of one week and will be released after that time. I will still honor the reserve requests which came before this announcement!

Next Wednesday, January 25th, at 10:00am Pacific Time, I will release a series based on Gemstone Lust, Imbolc, and Love Spirits! More sneaks peeks to come!

Artist's Mark

First off, Happy New Year! I'm very excited to begin a new year of creative work. I have lists and sketches of new ideas, designs, and techniques to try. To start, I spent last week running experiments on various things: different types of solder, different ramp and hold times for the kiln, different metal clays, and the next one will be to try out the new sterling metal clay. It sounds promising!

I'm also excited to begin this year with a new and more precise artist's mark, which was created using the typefaces in my Elements & Artifacts logo. There is also a teeny, tiny little star hanging out nearby to tie in my Stardust roots. Whenever possible given the design and space available, I will be fitting this artist's mark onto the back of my metal clay pieces:
