It is no secret that I think the world of my friends at Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab and Black Phoenix Trading Post. From another perspective, I adore the artistry and uniqueness of the offerings from those two companies.

Black Phoenix Trading Post is celebrating it's 5th Anniversary with a huge and exciting update with new BPAL-scented Villainess soaps, various and sundry bath oils, atmosphere sprays, pendants, and toddler tees. I'll take one of everything, please. ;)

I'm also excited to finally be able to share something I worked on late last year! Elements & Artifacts has created 75 pendants in 3 styles to be sold at Black Phoenix Trading Post! It was fun, intensive, and for a couple of weeks it overran my entire work space! Here are a few of my own snapshots:

Additionally, a logo I created for Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab has been added to the four new Alice in Wonderland toddler tees. I love the location of it, on the bottom of the back of the tee, and it reads Black Phoenix Imp Brigade. I just had to get some for Eve.

Happy Anniversary to BPTP, and may there be many more!

Autism Research Institute

As promised, I have donated 50% of the total proceeds from my Alice in Wonderland jewelry collection to the Autism Research Institute. A total of $146.00 has been donated, and there are still five Alice in Wonderland necklaces available at Elements & Artifacts which will result in additional donations toward the Autism Research Institute!

My heartfelt thanks goes to all those who purchased from this collection! For a more detailed explanation of this series and charity drive, please see the initial blog post on this subject.

Mad Tea Party

DarkSideoftheSun has created a lovely Etsy Treasury with a common theme: all the artisans included also love the artistic fragrances by Black Phoenix Alchemy Lab. My Titania necklace has made an appearance!

You can view the Treasury here, but it disappears down the rabbit hole in a couple of days. :)

Tell Me Your Secrets

Spindrift Studio has gathered a dreamy, ethereal Treasury on Etsy called Tell Me Your Secrets. Fog, mist, vines unfurling, the secret lives of bunnies, and gossamer wings. My Luciernaga pendant is part of the Treasury, and have you seen that amazing lantern?

The Treasury expires on February 18th.

I just found out that one of my necklaces was selected for an Alice in Wonderland Treasury on Etsy! You can visit it here, but it disappears down the rabbit hole on Friday, February 12th.

Custom Orders, Past and Present

Here's a little of what I've been working on lately. The first was a custom order for a lovely fairy bride in Australia, and it was an honor to create this piece to match her dress and the location and mood of her wedding.

This second one was a custom order that was to be a birthday gift for a close friend. This was done on the sly so that no similar work would be for sale in my shop before she had been given the gift, and was one of the first wire-wrap pendants that I designed sans lesson or guidance. The jewels are all luxe-rated, and were selected for their vibrant tones.

My Secret Admirer and Promo Contests are now over, and the winners have been selected.

I chose both winners by assigning a number to each entry as each one came in. I used to give me one winning number for each contest, and matched it up with the entry of the same number.

Congratulations to "iamsamth"! You have won the $30 gift certificate to Elements & Artifacts! You may use it anytime in 2010, and it can be applied to any order, whether it is ready-made or custom.

Congratulations to the winner of the Secret Admirer contest! In order to keep it confidential so that the person she nominated doesn't find out, I have notified the winner by email. The ruby heart earrings will hopefully bring a smile of joy to a secret someone.

I received a flood of entries to both contests, and the thoughtfulness of the entries and nominations was so touching. A lot of you have more friends than you know. :)

My spring equinox jewelry collection is underway, and I have some pieces in it that just may knock your socks off!

New Work

These pendants are not for sale, but they are a glimpse of things to come. I am planning to use the wire netting technique and style in some new pendant designs later this year!

Also, I just completed a custom order for a bee pendant. He's a cute little bee:
