Some years ago, I spent an entire year doing a series on the wheel of the year, the seasons, or the eight pagan sabbats. I waited and created each piece in colored pencil during the appropriate month and spent the weeks leading up to each piece in woolgathering mode while I figured out what that time of year meant to me in terms of colors, symbols, and meaning. I tried to evoke the feeling and symbolism of each turn of the wheel.
About three years ago, I printed all of those large drawings into small, high-quality glossy note cards. I sold them individually and as sets, and the vast majority of them have been out of stock since September 2007! I swore I would never reprint, but when the last of them sold a short time ago, I suddenly felt like something was missing from my shop. And so, they are available again!
