I stumbled upon a little internet gem called carbonmade last week, and ever since I found it I have had a portion of Tori Amos' Carbon in my head:

get me neil on the line
no i can't hold
have him read "snow glass apples"
where nothing is what it seems
"little sis you must crack this"
he says to me
"you must go in again carbon
made only wants to be unmade"

So, after spending hours on carbonmade browsing the portfolios of other artists, I created one of my own. I love the simplicity of it.

Two Like Treasuries

Sometimes it seems that snagging the ability to curate a Treasury on Etsy.com is the equivalent of seeing a rainbow-striped unicorn. It just doesn't happen... until last night.

I completed a summer-themed Treasury which can be viewed here!

Also of note is this similarly-themed Treasury, which features my Sylph necklace, created by the lady behind Sihaya Designs.

The inimitable Stephanie Pui-Mun Law has offered up some of her ink drawings as stationery sets. The beauty and detail of her work is breathtaking and this is no exception. To see her work on parchment makes me want to write a lovely old-fashioned letter in a flowing script to pass on to a dear friend or two.

Can you believe that summer is just around the corner? My summer collection is up, complete with a Midsummer Fairy Flowers series. Here's a preview of some of the collection. Visit Elements & Artifacts to view the entire set!

Magical being, elemental air.

Summer Solstice
Fiery like a summer sunset, golden like the sun, warm like the height of summertime.

The personification of June.

The butterfly is a flying flower,
The flower a tethered butterfly.

Whatever is dreamed on this night, will come to pass. —Shakespeare

Hand of Fatima

Midsummer Night: Fairy Flowers (A Series)
This garden of flowers is also a garden of thoughts and dreams. The thoughts grow as freely as the flowers, and the dreams are as beautiful.

There sleeps Titania sometime of the night,
Lull'd in these flowers with dances and delight;
And there the snake throws her enamell'd skin,
Weed wide enough to wrap a fairy in

Southwestern Sky
More varied than any landscape was the landscape in the sky, with islands of gold and silver, peninsulas of apricot and rose against a background of many shades of turquoise and azure. —Cecil Beaton
